Drinking delicious tea

He had been living in our country with his wife for a good decade. At the start, I’d been able to help them a lot. By now, they were well integrated and leading exemplary lives with their young kids. But not everyone meant them well. Time and again, they had to put up with malicious behaviour, against which they sometimes had to seek legal recourse. So he got in touch to ask if I had a little time. Two hours later, we were sitting together. Over a cup of tea, I listened for a long time and was able to offer encouragement. That evening, I received a message: “I am very grateful to you for the lovely time and the delicious tea. Whenever we meet, my soul breathes a sigh of relief. I feel it physically and mentally. I am grateful to God for everything I have. Good friends, my family and the lovely moments with people who truly love me. Thank you for thinking of us in every prayer. That gives me a lot of strength, especially in these difficult times. I am very sure that God is watching over us even now and guiding us forward.”
