Forgiveness was the topic on Sunday. ‘How often do we humans want to send people to the moon?’ I asked in my sermon. And then we discussed ways in which we might succeed in ‘depopulating’ the moon again. – The basis of all forgiveness is the realisation that we are loved infinitely. God has already forgiven me – even as I am currently passing judgement on someone – all my sins; he has remitted my debt of 10,000 talents – approximately one billion euros. Anyone who realises this becomes capable of truly forgiving. With a few concrete examples, I managed to shed light on this path to forgiveness. That evening, I read in a message: “I am looking forward to the next full moon, because I have recalled to Earth all those I had sent to the moon. That way, I will have a wonderful, unobstructed view of the moon’s luminous orb.”
