Patience

After hopeful encounters with a Polish language group, we decided to translate the logbook ‘My Life – Lopsided and Shining’ into the Polish language. After months of intensive work, the project was nearly complete. The book was ready to go to print. But then some doubts came up and we felt that the process was losing speed. On top of that, one of the main people on the Polish side got sick. What should we do? We kept trying to get in touch without putting any pressure on them. Then we had a chat with the main person in charge on our partner side. All the struggles and difficulties came out. Many unexpected things had happened. We encouraged them to talk to each other and to point out how far we had already come together. Then we had to let go of it on our part. We waited two days for a response. Then the message came: ‘The decision has been made. We're printing!’
