An oasis in the everyday chaos

Somehow everything wasn't going as it should and then there was a huge traffic jam. I listened to my heart and asked: What should I do now? I remembered the dentist who, as a Muslima, had received the Light of Bethlehem through her friend and had thanked me for it with deep emotion. "Why don't you drop by my practice when you're in my town?" she had told me. So I drove there. When I arrived at the practice and let the lady at reception know that I wasn't coming for a dental ache, but just for a quick visit, she replied: "Welcome." After a few minutes of waiting, the doctor came in. "I'm so pleased that you've come! It's great that you've made this possible." And then - in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the practice - she organised a coffee and we spent a few moments in an honest and lively exchange - about her family in the Gaza Strip, about her children, her home and much more. An oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As we said goodbye, she said: "What a gift! Please come back again. We always find a moment!"
