We presented six refugee stories to a large audience in one evening as part of the intercultural week. Filmon from Iraq, Berislav from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aata from Iraq, Elham and Hakim from Afghanistan, Artemida from Albania and Stas and Sasha from Ukraine gave moving testimonies. They had all told very personal stories of how they had tried to protect the precious good of their lives and had now arrived in Germany. After the meeting, one woman came with tears in her eyes and said: "I have never felt so much that we all belong to one human family and are all in one boat. The statement of the young Christian woman from Iraq: For me it is not important what religion a person belongs to, but whether he has a good heart, struck me deeply. I go home very enriched!"
