Knock signal

My phone rings. "We have a pupil who urgently needs some counselling because he's had a really difficult history and is now living in a youth welfare centre. Could you do that?" Despite being very busy, I sense that Jesus is knocking on my door with this request. A few days later, I meet this boy for a coffee. After a few minutes, we have such an atmosphere of trust that he begins to talk. I am amazed how he is trying to take control of his life under the most challenging conditions and has already learnt to manage himself well. I let him know how impressed I am by this. Then he tells me about his music preferences. He hasn't had a chance to learn an instrument yet. A very musically committed man comes to mind. I suggest to the young man that we arrange an appointment for the three of us to meet soon. He gladly agrees. In the evening, I read an email. "I'm so happy about our meeting. Thank you for making it all possible and organising it!"
