My time is your time!

Sunday afternoon. I called an elderly nun. We shared experiences of how we had lived in the present moment and the sister said: This morning was another special moment. I had told Jesus: My time is your time, because I had no specific tasks to do. I walked across the corridor and passed the room of a fellow sister with dementia. I looked in cautiously. "Oh, how nice to see you. I'm so alone. All the sisters say my mum has already died, but I think she's alive. What do you think?" - "She's definitely alive, with Jesus. She feels much better there, that's life in abundance!" - "Yes, exactly, I believe that too, she's alive!" - "Do you think she'll visit me this afternoon?" - "Oh, you know, in this rainy weather it's not possible." - "Yes, you're right! It's always so nice when you come! Come back very soon!" - "I promise!"
